A supplementary activity book for beginners "Comunicar em Português" is divided into 30 thematic units, each providing a wide range of exercises to develop oral communication. Each exercise is set within the context of daily life and involves the student in a variety of common exchanges such as asking and giving information, giving instructions, making telephone calls and talking about past events.

The audio-CD provides recordings to test listening comprehension skills while role-play exercises (designed for pairwork) provide authentic practice of each topic.
